I consider myself an « Identity Explorer ».
Here’s some explanation:
Identity (from Wiktionary)
#1 The sameness some individuals share to make up the same kind or universal.
#2 The difference or character that marks off an individual from the rest of the same kind, selfhood.
#3 A name or persona—the mask or appearance one presents to the world—by which one is known.
#4 Knowledge of who one is.
Explorer: (from Wiktionary)
#1 One who explores something
#2 A person who by means of travel (notably an expedition) searches out new information.
I enjoy exploring what makes me, well, me through readings and experimenting, through spirituality and « psychology ».
Since I have an autism spectrum disorder, I don’t really go out and meet people and look at them (except when I have to, in which case I turn into an entomologist) so I have to experiment myself the various « parts » that compose our identity, and their variations.
I like to see what affects me and how, but also what affects -and how- people’s way of looking at me.
